Purge the Lie(s)

What is the lie that you tell yourself often? Does the lie keep you stagnant? Unable to grow to your next level? Does the lie keep you depressed? I got it. For some of us, the lie keeps us feeling good about ourselves.

Before we even step into 2022, I want you to go on this mission with me to purge the lies from our heart and mind. How do we do that? We are going to follow the steps below to ensure that we step into the new year with a new mindset, starting today. I don’t know about you, but I cannot afford to first off wait until January 1st to shake the lie, and second wake up on January 1st with the same lie.

Here is what I know for sure

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10:3-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Whatever the lie is, I know it is against the will of God. How? Well first, my God does not lie. He is the God of absolute truth. Your lie is fed to you by Satan, and he repeats it until you start repeating it yourself. It’s time out for the defeat of your mind. It is time for victory. We fight the lies of Satan with the truth of God.

1. Identify your lie(s) & then Ask yourself if it matches the word of God. God talks confidently and encouragingly about you and to you. Do your thoughts match what God says about you?

2. Combat the lie with the word of God‼️ Find you some scriptures that directly speak against the lie of the enemy (Google if needed). But as often as Satan repeats the lie, smother it with the truth until you stop believing the lie….& keep it on repeat.

3. Get comfortable in your newly discovered truth‼️ If you have to shift environment or positions to protect your peace, then move accordingly. To stay in the mindset of a victor of truth, you need to live, walk, and breath it daily.

4. Maintain your walk with the truth. Learn more and more about Gods truth for you by dedicating your heart to it❤️. Ask God to write that truth across your heart and dedicate your thoughts to it.

5. REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

I would love to hear from you and what you experience on your journey. Feel free to reply to this messages. May God bless you on your path to freedom.
