Don’t Stop Praying

The reason why the enemy comes for our faith and our voice is because he is strategic. He knows that if he comes for that, then it’s not only about learning to pray or pray again, but then we start dealing with things like trauma or wounds. It can become a battle for some people to pick up the weapon of prayer and fight again. Past traumas can make you feel already defeated. It is so good to surround yourself with praying people who can pray you through some hard times. But we can have hope in the fact that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. He is the one who can keep us encouraged and healing, in some of our most hard times.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬ ‭

The battle sometimes is long and strenuous. It can feel like it’s going to take you out, but you have an indestructible weapon. One that can never be beaten or overpowered. Because of this, you are already undefeated!! God has already gone before you to prepare the way for for victory and your prayer is an access key to that place. Prayer is a weapon of mass destruction against even the past attacks of the enemy. You can undo every work of the enemy through prayer. How? Even if it is something that needs greater works like deliverance, prayer can reveal what needs to be delivered. Prayer is a proven work and the enemy does not like people picking up this power.

In the Bible David constantly prayed. When he felt defeated, he prayed. When he was joyous, he prayed. When he need strength and power, he prayed. David understood the concept of using praying to overpower the enemy. He understood prayer as his weapon among other things.

Lord, give us a heart and mind, like David’s towards you concerning prayer. Amen

See, 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 says…

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭

The enemy already knows that if he can get you to put down your access point to God (Prayer & His word), then you are stripped of your power. When you stop communing with God you begin to fight battles that you cannot win. God gives us an advantage that we cannot have without Him. Staying in His presence gives you the power to slay giants with a slingshot. We know the reference of David and Goliath, but do you ever think about how God took something that seemed so insignificant to others, to kill something so big. Your small words can be a method to kill everything the enemy send to attack you!! You are powerful beyond measure and strengthened beyond limits. Trust God and never put your weapon down. NEVER STOP PRAYING!!!
