I want to encourage you that no prayer is insignificant. No person so small that they cannot make a change by sending supplication to the Lord. I hope the following encourages you to pray more.
(Matthew 6:10) Jesus says this is how you should pray. When we have people or situations that nudge on our spirit for prayer, most of us begin to do just that. Pray. So many people shy away from prayer because it is not something that they are use to or feel confident in. The Holy Spirit helps us in this way. I want to encourage you that when you pray, you welcome the Holy Spirit in as a leader and helper for you as you began to lift up prayers unto the Lord.
As things heated up this week between Russia and Ukraine, I of course immediately began to pray for the Ukrainian nation, but I also went to my Father to receive my orders. God what specifically do you want me to pray for? What is my assignment in this moment? What are my marching orders?
When soldiers go to war, they are given instruction of where to position. This is to maximize the chances of winning the battles and eventually, the war. Even though it was about 3 am when God answered me lol, He gave me a focal point of where He needed me on the battlefield. You are not alone this. God will direct you. He loves your desire to pick up your weapon of prayer and He is willing to tell you just what to do with it.
If it is the beginning of you learning to pray, you may have moments where you feel insecure or like you don’t know what you are doing. God sees your heart‼️ Don’t talk yourself out of talking to the Lord. I was a flailing mess when I first desired to do focal prayer. I was everywhere and sometimes would just stop. Holy Spirit had to teach me how to pray and it was not an overnight process. The more you pray, the more confident you become in praying.
See we are all one church, one people, one movement. Just as when soldiers go to war, everyone has to do their part, so as it is in the kingdom. Your prayers and encouragement are so important and necessary to the victory of the Lord. As prayer warriors, Intercessors, or just the people of God, know that God is your General. He knows the ins and outs of what is going on and is able to assign you to a task for maximum benefit. Just speaking the word of God can change situations and outcomes. Align your hearts and prayers with Gods will to see the victory come to pass.
He has the blueprint for victory, the blueprint for success. It is in His Will for the power and peace of heaven to be hear on earth. I know this post is all over the place lol. I really just wanted to get these few things off my chest. If you take anything from this blog post, let it be this…
