“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Ephesians 6:11
I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but you are trying to fight a spiritual battle with physical weapons, and well, it’s just not gone work.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: “(for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)”
2 Corinthians 10:3-4
Your battle axe is the word of God. Speaking the name of Jesus and pleading the blood is your weapon. The heavenly force behind the name of Jesus is atomic. It’s not you, it’s your faith and relationship with the Lord. God recognizes you as His, and He is not allowing Satan to overcome what is His. He is not playing about you! He tells us do not fear because He has all power. When we speak His name when we please the blood we are operating under that power.
When we do that we can proclaim Isaiah 54
“Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”
Isaiah 54:16-17
But do you know that we can’t walk in the promises of God without the relationship/connection to God. You can stand there and chant the word of God all day long. The power that backs the word is in the faith. It is in the belief and connect with the Lord. When you enlist your heart to God, you receive your armor.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:12-13
