Sometimes I have to stop and ask God does He have a clock in heaven lol. When God wants to speak to you, He is not known to go by your time zone. Sometimes it in the middle of the night, and sometimes in the early early morning. God moves and speaks according to the need. When He speaks, it would be of a great benefit for us to listen.
On one of these early, early mornings, God begin to speak to me about prayer. Here is the basis of what He spoke to me:
Just as in life, when people live an undesired check to check life, why do people live prayer to prayer.
I know for me, I’ve prayed for financial freedom before. The life of not having an abundance and holding my tongue just right until I get my next check, was a life I was not wanting to live. In that check to check life, there is a scarcity of freedom and a fear of going without. There is an inability to save because frankly there’s not enough coming in, or we have mishandle how we spend. It’s not a place of power but rather a place of vulnerability.
I began to say, “Lord! You are so right”! Why is this the prayer life we choose to have!? Why have we not stored up prayers as a source of freedom and power? We have unlimited access to store up prayers in heaven to God. There is no barrier on the overflow of communication with God. We can live richly in the presence of Holy Spirit, simply by putting in the work to pray. It’s a place of power, love, and authority. It brings a strength and confidence like no other. We are never without or in fear of not having what we need. It is a place where faith can be increased and abundance/overflow happens.
“Pray without ceasing.”

Prayer is essential for the Kingdom life. In this life prayer can take you to places you’ve never dreamed. Having a rich prayer life is the best investment you can make. Don’t live a life of prayer poverty where we only pray to God when we need something or out of obligation. When we save money, we do so with plans, goals, and expectations. We desire to live a life of freedom, excitement, and comfort. Those are the same goals in a rich prayer life. Goals of walking in the plans, goals, and blessings that God has for us. As well as not being bound (liberated), by stress, anxiety, and depression.
A rich prayer life is an access key to victory. It is a winning strategy 🙌🏾 to get you to the promise that God has for you in this season! Go into overdrive and put in the work so that you will not get stuck in the routine of a poverty prayer life 🙏🏾.
Don’t find time to pray. MAKE time to pray!
