Happy May 1st
I posted something on my Facebook the other day that I want to share. It is right in alignment with Mental Health Awareness Month as well.
Post:
Knowing God is a wholeness journey. He gives so much self revelation on the path to a more intimate relationship with Him. The closer you are to Him, the more He shows your who you were created to be and how it has been altered. God is the best leader of healing and growth.
#KnowHim
Wholeness- the state of being unbroken or undamaged. Or the state of forming a complete and harmoniouswhole; unity.
My husband told me about a time where he hurt his arm. He walked around with it in an awkward position until one day, someone finally thought something was wrong, and took him to the ER. It was broken. He was walking around in pain with a broken arm, but since He had a high pain tolerance, he just went along as usual until somebody else saw the need to seek help.
So many people are so hurt inside but they do not recognize it as broken. The things that hurt them have become bearable and manageable. So much so that they don’t even realize that it’s not ok to remain in a place of brokenness but rather a time to seek help and be healed. When we set our hearts desire on getting to know God more, God is able to pull you up from that place fragmented pieces and created a whole you.
Do you deal with brokenness? Have you asked God to heal you?
God sees the broken and unhealed things in us that we don’t even see ourselves. We can be triggered and under a great deal of emotions without knowing the reason why. God sees even the deep rooted things in you that attribute to being unhealed. When He calls us to Him, He will bring these things to our attention because He wants to heal us. Since God has a purpose for you He also has a plan. In this plan He calls you to be freed from the burdens that keep you from liberty.
The more we begin to lean and trust on God, the more wisdom and revelation He gives us concerning the parts of us that need to come in alignment with you being made whole. With you being free. Here is my assignment for you.
1. Ask! Ask God to show what’s broken and to give you the root cause of the pain?
3. Do! Do the work! The very broken thing that we may hold on to, keeps us from walking in the promises that God has for us. It is a barrier that stops us from progressing.
2. Listen! He will instruct us on the work that needs to be done and even the help that needs to seek.
4. Trust! Trust Gods process of making you whole again. Depending on the way something has been broken, it may take time and extra measures to make it whole again.
I’m going to check back in with you guys later to see how you are doing. Take this scripture as a reminder of what God is willing to do for you to be healed.
“by his stripes you have been made whole.””
